Publisher's summary

Good things come in extra-tall, smoking hot stilettos. Things like Jocelyn Jones. Jocelyn "Ice Queen" Jones is the hottest agent in town, and I'm determined to make her mine. My agent, that is. She's the best at what she does, which is why I'm intent on keeping our relationship strictly platonic, even if the sexual tension between us is thick enough to slice with a skate. After all, I already have a woman in my life. My daughter, Charli, and we're not sure if there's room for someone else. Until Jocelyn Jones breaks all the rules. She lets her icy exterior begin to melt, treating me to a view no man has ever seen before. Suddenly, I'm no longer certain if I want to be on her roster, or in her bed - for good. Tangling business with pleasure has never been on the agenda. Then again, neither has falling in love. They say it's bad business to sleep with the boss. But they haven't met Jocelyn Jones.

Contains mature themes.

Redemption of a character and a sweet romance

I have to admit that when I saw that this book followed Jocelyn, I really didn't think that she could be redeemed. But you know what, Lily Kate did the impossible. I really liked Jocelyn in this book. But mostly, I LOVED Boxer. The way he is with his daughter, Charlie, is perfect and heartwarming, something that made me smile completely. It reminds me of my husband with our children and it makes me so happy to read about these interactions. So I hoped that the author could make Jocelyn worthy of him and she did an admirable job. Their interactions were fun and sweet, including with Charlie. This book was low angst and I loved how the characters dealt with the "angsty" scenario, which I feel like other authors would have blown out to put an obstacle to their HEA. It was a great story.

Mostly, I listened to the audiobook and I thought both did a great job playing multiple characters. Great modulation of tone, great intonation. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook and recommend it.

I really enjoyed the story and the one before this one Delivery Girl. The female narrator was good, but the male narrator really didn’t do anything for me she could have chosen someone better to be a good looking hockey player.
