Publisher's summary

Her marriage fell apart. She was raising two kids on her own.

A traumatic encounter with her bishop, betrayed by the religion she had devoted her life to, mistreated and judged by those closest to her, she walked away.

While finding herself bitter, alone, sad, and yet, in the midst of this, finding the love of her life, a series of miraculous events brought her to a choice:

To stay where she was or come back to the fold.

Great History

What a great story of a return from a tough situation. By the way your narrator is the bomb, exceptional work.

Too short.

I did love the story, I just wish there were more details. I realize the author is trying to avoid shaming individuals, and it is a quick story, but I wish there was a little more explanation and description. I am very glad for stories such as these. It's a great testimony to have. I how it in spires more people to explain their conversion stories.

Great quick read

For anyone who has strayed from the gospel and then come back or anyone who trangressed and thought of coming back....this is a short but consice true story of a woman who had sex outside of marriage and slowly through promptings of relatives beyond the veil to turn her heart back to the gospel through repentance and forgiveness.

Wonderful

As I listened to this book, I felt like it was written just for me! Most of the experiences that she writes and talks about I too went through- I just couldn’t stop listening, it was as though she was telling my life’s greatest trails! Such a great book!!

No story here

This book lacks all the details to be a real story. Every moment that would allow the reader to connect with the author are squandered in phrases of “it’s too traumatic to relive.” Although I agree with that sentiment and have trauma in my life I don’t want to relive I didn’t write a story about my life… Overall I am very disappointed with this book because it could’ve been great but instead is like every story the church used to share “things were hard, they got bad and then things were better.”
