Is JJ Hills a robot

The voice is like a robot. It's stunted and sounds like Stephen Hawking with an upgrade. It really doesn't sound like a human being and I suspect that it is read by a computer. It has no inflection. No change of pace. It is dull, uninspiring and although at first you don't notice, after a while, you are just pissed off. It is like being lectured by Sonny from iRobot (movie).

So, the "hypnosis" track are 10mins long. There are 5. Except they just go, "Oh ... now you are comfortable. Now you are in hypnosis.... Bit of blurb... Now wake up." and then each has 5-6mins of mellow music. So, they're not great ! At all !!

The affirmations are OK... Although refer to "the voice" comments above. Sonny the robot repeating the same things for an hour and a half is enough to make you mad.

The affirmations that are supposed to be "while you are sleeping" are just the same again but with this insane echo/reverb/delay/ effect which just clicks and pops as it 'echos' off into the distance. Every "t" or "s" repeatedly smacking against your ears and utterly impossible to sleep to. I can't for the life of me think that it makes any scientific difference except to just irritate the listener.

As an aside, some of the affirmations are actually not that great. They have negative implications or are too generic. Many of them I am listening to thinking, "Nope... that is NOT something I want to believe about myself".

Mainly though, "the voice" is what puts me off and I have removed all the JJ Hills stuff from my wishlist as I just can't face it.
