If you think of buying your first bonsai tree, or you're simply curious of what bonsai is all about - this book is for you. Excellently written, it is very short and to the point, all you need to know before... type of book. ALL the information presented is essential, and there's absolutely no "watery" paragraphs that you can skip.Starting from bonsai history, to tools, styles, and best practices - it covers a lot of material, and is very well structured. If you've never had a pleasure of growing your own bonsai tree, this book will most likely answer all your questions (and probably force you towards starting a new hobby).
This book is NOT: An in-depth guide for a professional or an experienced bonsai artist.
Overall: Excellent book, well worth the money. Would definitely recommend.
Warning: Bonsai "knowledge extract" (not diluted).
