Publisher's summary

When Bonnie Lane's husband passes away unexpectedly and leaves her a widow in her forties, she's left with three grown sons and the decision to stay in Atlanta, or to start a new life somewhere else.

A trip to Christmas Key with her sister-in-law is the catalyst for her move, transporting her from a busy life in the city to an island still in the early stages of its development. Frank and Jeanie Baxter are still alive; Holly is a recent high-school graduate instead of the mayor; and Jack Frosty's isn't even a figment of anyone's imagination yet!

This Christmas Key novella is like a time machine that takes us back to the start for Bonnie and for the island. It can be read at any point in the series!

A romantic comedy series set in the Florida Keys for fans of Hope Holloway, Wendy Wax, Jan Moran, and Deborah Brown!

The AWFUL VIRTUAL VOICE

I truly hope audible is not going to start using Virtual Voice more in the near future. This will cause me to cancel my subscription. It sounds very robotic, weird pronouncement of words & even more odd is the pauses and sometimes the lack there of. It is very hard as the listener to bond with the story when you hear odd things and wonder “what did she just say?” I will be very careful in the future to pay attention to “who” is actually preforming the book. I’m sure Virtual Voice is helping Audible’s bottom line. It’s easy to not have to employ and or pay a robot. Shameful. It’s hard to believe that the author is okay with this policy.
