Hollywood!

This audiobook about a movie star heartthrob who suddenly becomes a father when a five year old daughter appears at his door was entertaining. The nanny he coerces to work for him makes a good heroine, because she doesn't instantly fawn all over him. The relationship between the hero and heroine was done in a way that made the storyline move along well. I think I would hate being part of that world of fame where you never know if something is "real". The narration was done well and overall this was a good listen.

More than the typical romance: Love story

Worth the wait and money. Andi and Christian are perfect narrators. Wish this could be a series.

Fun Hollywood Nanny Story

This is a megahunk movie star has 5 year old daughter dropped in his lap, hires and falls for nanny story. It was sexy, humorous and heartwarming. Andi and Christian do a fantastic job narrating.

Really Good!

I really enjoyed this one once I got past how much Brad screwed up at first. Also, not a big fan of a male protagonist being named Brad.

However, the story was engaging and romantic. So bonus!

Bombshell

Story of an actor who was introduced to his five-year-old that he didn’t know existed. Out of his depth, he hired a nanny who was able to work with his daughter, since she lost her mother in a car accident. The story is about family. HEA. Recommend.

Another Great Read

CDR never disappoint. I wish I could retire and just sit and read all of her books! Brad and Kara are not perfect but they make it work. What I love about CDR books is that her books show that people are not perfect and we have choices. So with that being said - buy the book - audible version you will not be disappointed.

This Bombshell Blew Me Away

I do not know why it surprises me that Christine Reiss has written another extraordinary book. This book has wonderful characters, especially the women. The women are strong, spirited and determined. I am from the south and it "tickles" me to ready a well written southern male character. So often southerners end up sounding like backwoods hicks but not with this book. The southernisms are not just crazy cliches, they are things I have heard all my life. This book is a little lighter than my usual choices amend I loved it anyway because the dialogue is excellent. The sexy parts were great as we have come to expect from Reiss.
I listened to the audiobook of Bombshell and the voice actors performances really added to the experience. Andi Arndt and Christian Fox became the characters as I new they would. These three, author and actors, can't be beat. I am so looking forward to their next books be they together or not.

Slow burn, but the teacup is sweet!

Recommendations of CD Reiss keep coming my way, so I decided to make this my first listen by her, and it did not disappoint. I was not expecting what I heard. This story about an A-list actor falling for the nanny is a front page tabloid read I see all the time. But CD Reiss came through with a sweet, sexy background that makes me sit back and enjoy. Brad Sinclair, the actor is given his daughter, Nicole after her mother is tragically killed. SURPRISE!!!! He is now a daddy to a five year old. Caught completely off guard, he needs to find help, and fast. Cara literally walks into his and Nicole's life, and not only has he found his nanny, but he may have found the one person who completes him. Their journey to happiness is far from smooth. There are so many bumps in the road, ones that are expected as the book goes on, others that are complete surprises. CD Reiss includes not only what is normally heard about Hollywood happenings, but also real life issues and life changing decisions making this book interesting as well as complete and total entertainment. Nicole Garcia Sinclair will steal your heart too!

The seasoned narrators for this book are perfect. Andi Arndt and Christian Fox are perfect. I especially loved Christian Fox, he made Brad feel real from the pompous A-lister to the compassionate father.

No, this is my first I believe. I love Andi's voice for both female and male. Christian I'm starting to like very much!
