So Talon didn't come home until 12:30 AM. Did he die? Did the shop get robbed? Is he cheating on me? One could assume all the things and I started to think OMG something really bad couple have happened. Turns out he was just hanging at the shop with his pals but how the F was I supposed to know that? DBT DEAR MAN helps me say we're not doing that again. Hang with your pals, just let me know. This skill, from the interpersonal effectiveness module of DBT, helps create a formula for effectively telling him what I need instead of the ghosting. It was super helpful!
