Love and danger

I loved this fated mates, shifter, bodyguard romance with a side of danger. This novella had the good mix of humor, heartwarming love, real life issues, danger, and spice. Ellie is a paramedic who witnesses a murder by the godfather of Santa Martina. Hal is a bear shifter who owns Protection, Inc. Hal is asked by the police department to protect Ellie and he knows the moment he sees her that she is his mate. Now he just needs to explain shifters and destined mates while keeping her safe from a mobster. Despite being short, the novella was well written and included characters with dimension and an engaging storyline. I am excited to read more in this series.

PJ Morgan and Matt Hayes did a good job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. I loved the growly bear voice.

A perfect fated mate story with plenty of action! The woman who voiced Ellie was amazing!

Ellie and Hal

This story is Ellie and Hal's story they met because one night following her graveyard shift as a paramedic Ellie witnessed a murder if that isn't traumatic enough the murderer is already wanted by the police and the other man she saw committing the crime was Santa Martina's Godfather and she can identify them! But no past witness has ever survived to testify, so the Protection Agency has hired Hal a bear shifter and the owner of his own security/protection agency to be her protector.

When former Navy Seal Hal's, protection agency was hired to protect Ellie a crucial witness, he had no idea the female he'd be protecting would be his fated mate! Now he and his bear fully intend to claim her, always assuming he can keep her alive and that she doesn't run screening when he reveals that he's a bear shifter! But keeping her safe isn't as easy as he expected especially when he gets shot....

The story is exciting and fast-paced, full of drama and action and the characters are wonderfully well-drawn as for their chemistry it's palpable and hot!

The narration by P. J. Morgan and Matt Haynes is very well done they each bring the characters to life beautifully.

suspenseful shifter story

I like the character building and development in this story. The suspense keeps the story flowing.
The narrators are very good. They are easy to understand and do a great job with the dialog.
