Good book

I only gave the performance portion 4 stars because I listen when I drive in my car and hearing all of the food recipes back to back which is a large portion of book 2 the nutrition book was pretty much useless. That portion of the book would be much better read in paper back so you can see and plan your own meals. Other than that it was a great book.

Good read, but it’s more for those looking for a method to the madness than trying to get a better grasp on the madness.

Wow, the information presented here is extremely dated! particularly the recommendation of 20% protien balance was very surprising, as one would more likely need to take in up to 1 gram of protien per lb of body weight. maybe this is way so many bodybuilders take in over 4000 calories a day..which in itself is also not a good idea for most individuals looking to cut fat and put on mass. I found this two book package a bit of a waist of time, unfortunately.
