Publisher's Summary

You don't notice the existence of the human body's shadow most of the time. You don't know what happens to it when you go to sleep. It doesn't matter where you are, what you’re doing, your shadow will go and do the same.

You hardly pause to consider how you use hand gestures, eye contact, body posture, touch, and space, yet these are powerful ways that you communicate through body language all the time.

When it comes to effective communication, nothing works in favor of human beings' relationships better than combining verbal and nonverbal communication to drive the point home. What is the difference between these two forms of communication?

There is a significant difference between these two forms of communication. However, the ultimate purpose of this book is to share ideas, thoughts, and emotions. This book shows you the importance of body-language communication in human relationships.

Contents of this book:

  • How body language influences human communication
  • How the internal impacts the external human, body language communication
  • How to use the five elements of body language in communication

Great info

This book is body language for men but it's very beneficial for a woman to read. Body language between any people is important to at attention too however as a woman knowing what men are trying to get across with their body movements is very helpful in plenty of different situations. People don't pay enough attention to such obvious clues and with this book it will make it much simpler.

Good guide

In this book, the reader is taught how to train their body language. There are some really clean tips in this book.
What interested me most were the "extras" at the beginning and ending chapters of the book. This book helped me know exactly what I am doing when giving off language through my body.

Men definitely need to read this!

Pleasant writing style. Actually my brother found this helpful and inspiring, and based on his reaction I’d say the instructions here worked well for him. Though I can say I found a few interesting and useful confidence tips here myself. Chiefly the hang out with the alphas and question thyself. I can relate to being always stuck in the mid-crowd.

Get started right away

Fascinating. It’s amazing how little people understand about the non verbal part of how we present ourselves. Confidence, self esteem and, ultimately your personal success are all telegraphed to others by your posture, walk and your body language. This book will help you send the correct message. Easy to read and engaging. Start practicing the tips right away. It’s part of a related series.

Glad that the author came up with this book

This definitely a different kind of guide on body language. Body language has a lot to with how people perceive us men as well as it impacts our confidence and personality in the process. It is but right to master our body language skills as often as we can. This book can serve as a guide for mastering body language. It also talks about confidence but touches on the subject of Self Esteem which is the root of everything. Glad that the author came up with this book. Appreciate it!

Great tips for suave body language

This book was really good to read. I was looking for some more info on body language tips, and this was exactly what I needed. It covers lots of topics like high status body language, how to have dominant body language, how to be a badass, and more. I’d recommend this to anyone interested in having smooth body language and command an audience.

The unspoken truth

Body language is the "unspoken truth". Now a days people tell too much lies that they no longer believe the truth of other people, because they think that others tell lies as well. Body language however, is what they look up to and judge you with.

Great Book

Great Book, As an closed off introvert back then, this book definitely helps me open up more to the world. Putting yourself out there for the world to see and feel attracted to. I seen this many times where I'd be closed off and people around me really wouldn't be that comfortable being next to me. It's like they can feel the low negative energy coming from my posture. But after testing some of these techniques Chris Miguel recommends, I definitely get some stares in a positive way and some people actually talk to me seeking my validation. Definitely recommend this book to anyone having trouble in this area of their lives. Great book again.

This is a fascinating book!

There is so much more to this book that plain principles. As creatures of many senses, coming from different ethnic, cultural, and social backgrounds, it is a wonder that we can communicate with others as well as we do. For most of our lives, particularly in our educational system, the focus is on the words that we use. Non-verbal communication drastically alters, modifies or filters the message, often resulting in a discontinuity between what is said and what is heard. This book provides an engaging, informative, and easy-to-read exploration of how we communicate with each other. Robert Moore shows how body language originates from both biological and environmental sources. It is amazing that women send signals a few times before the men they are interested in respond. It just shows you how dense men are. This is a fascinating book!

Interesting and helpful. Would probably be more helpful in the print version. But the pdf that came with the audio was helpful. It’s a great quick reference with lots of good points. I enjoyed it.

Great Primer!

A solid overview of the subject, featuring lots of concrete gestures/expressions, with everything thoughtfully organized and clearly explained. Works best as a complement/introduction to their online lessons, which is why it's 4-star as a standalone...but I do highly recommend using this as a jumping-off point to more of what the authors have to offer :)

My favorite manual on how to read body language

The thing that sets this book on body language apart from many of the others in my library is that it doesn't just talk about individual body parts, but it looks at how combining different movements/expressions/positionings communicates meaning. I like that it presents the information in an actionable way (how to have positive body language, how to interpret others' negative body language) and I love that it gives exercises to help you develop your skills at interpreting other people's expressions, gestures and movements.

Clear and Easy to Understand

Whenever I see a new book on body language, I try to obtain a copy. They all have interesting insights and observations about how people communicate. This one does, too. In fact, it contains decades of research, but that research is clearly and simply explained. The actions and expressions talked about are also understandable and easy to picture.
