Phil is a board and card game designer living and working on Gadigal land (Sydney, Australia).

He makes games that are easy to learn and socially engaging to play. His best-known game is Sushi Go! which has been published around the world in over 20 languages, selling over 2 million copies.

Phil has enjoyed working with many great international publishers including Ravensburger, Kosmos, Gamewright, CMON, Z-Man Games, Lookout, Buffalo Games, Big Potato, and Blue Orange. He also worked with amazing brands like Tetris and Bluey.

In 2022, Phil and his wife Meredith launched their own publishing company, Joey Games, which makes board games about Australia for kids and adults to play together.
