Publisher's Summary

In a time when myths and legends are thought to be fairy tales, a young woman is thrown into a world of ancient legends and prophecy.

Cora's life is in danger. From the sea a young man of mystery and lore will be born. He is of a land deep below the waves, a world of power connected to the ring she wears--the Ring of Mer. He is a protector, a guardian, linked to the same destiny as Cora.

But a danger lurks in the darkness, one of ancient evil from when the prophecy was formed, and it will stop at nothing to possess the ring and end Cora's life.

When Sean takes on the responsibility of protecting her, will Cora be able to allow him into her heart and trust him? Their survival will depend on it, for this mystery of the sea may be her very destiny; the prophecy requires that Sean and Cora form a bond that is as unbreakable as those that came before them. If they cannot form this bond, it may be not just their lives at stake but everyone's in the world...

For the prophecy requires them both to become the next Seer and Guardian of The Blue Moon.

Any additional comments?

*** I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review ***

I like the concept of these stories, and this series...but this one dragged a bit for me...I did like the friendship and budding romance between Cora and Sean and how this series is unraveling...this one is about a merman and a see'er that was chosen when she discovers a ring, she is in danger and the merman must protect her...and of course they are drawn together as soul mates...there is more mythical creatures in this book and it is a good story...great cliffhanger ending...and looking forward to #3!

Building up to a battle

* I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review *

This is the second book of the series and it was just about as good as the first. There is a big battle brewing and you can feel it throughout the book. Finding the seers and their guardians is the main tasks at the moment, but we are getting to the battle. I think once we get there, things will heat up very quickly!

Perfect Follow Up!!

Where does Blue Moon: The Ring of Mer (Volume 2) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Ring of Mer, honestly, is among the top 10 audiobooks I've listened to. The combination of author Geraldine Allie and narrator Alex Hyde-White, this is a perfectly executed fantasy! Would LOVE to see this as a movie

What other book might you compare Blue Moon: The Ring of Mer (Volume 2) to and why?

In terms of character creation and development, I would compare to any legend of King Arthur!

Which character – as performed by Alex Hyde-White – was your favorite?

Very hard to nail down to just one.

Any additional comments?

Once again, Geraldine Allie brings a rich, brilliant world to us. Compared to volume 1, it is quite obvious that the author's skills have become quite honed. I think the pairing of Ms. Allie and Mr. Hyde-White creates the perfect duo.

and the saga continues ...

Who was your favorite character and why?

I enjoyed the character of Cora the best. She is someone who just wants to live her life and is now 'thrown' into the world of the Seers and the Guardians. She takes everything in stride and is a force to be reckoned with.

Have you listened to any of Alex Hyde-White’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Another fine performance by Mr. Hyde-White. He also reads the first book in this series. The flow between book 1 and book 2 is seamless. The characterizations are the same from book to book. A job well done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Coming in at just about 4 hours in length, this is a book that you could listen to on a lazy day or maybe in the car on a trip.

Any additional comments?

Blue Moon continues the story first started in Hunter's Moon. We go on the journey with Cora and Sean as they fight Morganna with the help of Merlin, Victoria and Percy. I like where this story is going and can't wait for book 3. I would recommend this book to my friends who enjoy fantasy books and tales.
