Publisher's summary

"Bloodlines Vol.1" is a captivating compilation that brings together the first five novellas of fan-favorite characters from the novel "Stanley Swanson - Breed of a Werewolf." The anthology delves into the intricate and diverse backgrounds of these characters, providing listeners with a deeper understanding of their lives and experiences.

The first novella, "Uncommon Lust (love edition)," unravels the story of Gravakus and Natalie, shedding light on the aftermath of their involvement in the original novel. This tale explores the complexities of their relationship and adds layers to their characters.

Following this, "Journey of Kain Edward (hopeful edition)" takes listeners on a compelling exploration of Kain's life, delving into his beliefs in supernatural and paranormal creatures of the night. The narrative concludes with Kain's introduction in the original novel, adding a sense of anticipation and connectivity."Julie Swanson - Untold (survivor edition)" offers a glimpse into Julie's life before she transforms into the character depicted in the original novel. This edition provides valuable insights into Julie's past, contributing to a richer understanding of her character and the challenges she faced. The narrative takes a darker turn with "Sirtimi (hate edition)," revealing the origins of Sirtimi, possibly the first and oldest Drakulis. The novella explores his deep-seated hatred towards the breed of werewolves, adding an element of mystery and tension to the overarching storyline.

Concluding the anthology is "Jade Swanson - A Legend In The Making (fearless edition)," which centers around Jade, the daughter of the legendary character from the original novel. Jade embarks on a quest to seek vengeance against the vampire who murdered her mother, adding a fearless and determined dimension to her character.

All these character novellas have their roots in the world created by "Stanley Swanson - Breed of a Werewolf."

Bloodline Chronicles: Vol. 1 review

This was an all right book, a unique story with interesting characters. The only problem was the narration, it was sort of low and hard to hear at different times.

That was a lot

So, it seemed like there were multiple books all put into one but in thinking about all of it, they are all connected to each other. This book, like I said, told multiple mini stories, however, they are all connected in some way but not told in any particular order. I think, with the connection and introduction of all of these characters and their stories, it leads into the main storyline of what is to come in book two. I'm actually rather interested to see where it goes from here for some of the characters. The only confusing part for me (something I had a hard time keeping track of) was the time line and when each occurred. I'll have to listen again and make a timeline before I listen to book two.

I think I've heard this narrator before. However, I do like his manner of telling this story. He does bring life to his characters and you can at least tell each character apart but my favorite part of him narrating is how low he talks when he's reading. It works really well for this story.

Intertwined Introduction of Bloodlines

I love how the book introduces each of the characters in their own little mini stories so you can see how each of their stories intertwine to one big story. Diontae Black breathes life into each of the characters with his smooth voices. This book is well written and intriguing.
I received this audiobook for free but I am voluntarily leaving this honest unbiased review.

Interesting Storyline

This book is well written and I really enjoyed it. I also thought that Diontae Black did a wonderful job narrating. It was just the perfect combo of good story writing, great characters, and talented narrating that makes this book great. I received this audiobook from the author (S.K. Ballinger) in his promotion, and I am voluntarily writing this.

Compelling tale that leaves you wanting more!

This is my first book by S. K. Ballinger. I am so impressed with volume 1. I was instantly hooked. I love how each story gives a detail characterization of who’s who and how each story is woven together for the perfect twisted masterpiece. Each story is flawlessly executed. Bloodlines Chronicles has everything: true love-hate, betrayal-loyalty, twist and turns that holds your interest to the very end. Like a vampire, I want more! This isn’t your regular vampire wolf tale. You will not be disappointed.
Diontae Black did an amazing job narrating. He breathed life into each character perfectly.
He built tension between the characters that released the flow of the story.
I cannot wait for volume 2. Well done S. K. Ballinger! Bravo!

masterful story telling of the paranormal variety

narrator has great inflection and voice presence, the author does a great job giving you an introduction to each of the main players in this series and how they are interconnected or how they become what they are within the Chronicles. I enjoyed it and will see what the rest of the series brings.
