I'm not sure how such a laid-back guy got the local Alpha and his pack threatening to hunt him down and tear him apart, but we all have our secrets.

It requires a lot more work than I'd anticipated to remodel an abandoned cannery and turn it into an art gallery & tea bar. It's coming along, though, especially with the help of a new werewolf who's joined the construction crew. He does beautiful work. His sexy, growly, bearded presence is very hard to ignore, but I'm trying. I'm not sure how such a laid-back guy got the local Alpha and his pack threatening to hunt him down and tear him apart, but we all have our secrets.

My new favorite series!
Would you listen to Blood of the Earth again? Why?
I love this new series! I am a big Gardner and I can so relate to the character, Nell. Her love for her woods, animals, garden and desire to be left alone. Yet she learns to open and let in people allowing her to grow from an already strong woman to an outstanding woman. Again Faith has outdone herself, creating characters that are entertains and a story you can become lost in.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
without giving anything away, one seen in particular had me laughing out loud at work! I still giggle visualizing it!

Love this book!
I've read all of Faith Hunter's books, I think that BotE is her best yet! I enjoyed listening to it so much that I listened to it twice in one week.
I am ready for the next book, Curse on the land- coming out in November!

great new series ... took a while to bulid up
loved it so it took awhile to build up this is a great new series from Faith Hunter from the same world as Jane yellowrock everyone should pick this up be a little patient as this is the build-up for a new story and new game not giving too much away let's just say the number 18 enjoy

Amazing!!
I am a huge fan of Faith Hunter. I think Nell and Occam are two of my favorite fictional characters. Nell is introduced to PsyLed by Jane Yellowrock after helping her rescue a vamp. If you like Yellowrock's books, you absolutely need to experience Soulwood! And I love the narrator. The East TN accent isn't overdone and honestly sounds like home. Very well done all around!!!

A wonderful new group of beings to know and love.
Would you consider the audio edition of Blood of the Earth to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the printed version but it would make a good special occasion gift.
What other book might you compare Blood of the Earth to and why?
The characters are unique so I really wouldn't compare it to another book.
Have you listened to any of Khristine Hvam’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I feel like I know Nell and Paca and all of them actually. such great writing and I cant wait to get my points nxt month to get the nxt in the series. if I can find a deal b4 then I'll get the nxt one because I dont think I'll be able to wait to see what in store for Nell and her team nxt..get this book u will not regret it
