The story is told from a perspective of someone who has clearly dealt with life. the twists and in turns of the story, make it both believable and at the same time suspend belief because of the magical nature of the story. Well done, in one of literature‘s hardest concepts, “the sequel.”

Love the personality of the MC. Scarred by the past and learning to connect and learn again. Great story and plot in the fantasy genre. This author doesn't try to incorporate the progression of rpg. Instead he relies on uncovering the characters and the worlds to the reader through storyline and plot! It is so NICE to have a fantasy book by an adult for adults! Highly recommend! Great narrator also.
