This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Damn it Scott! Great but….
Another great USS Bull Shark and USS Megladon story. However, it’s like many movie series that come out wetting your appetite so you watch the next movie. Personally, I didn’t like that part at all. Now I wonder how long it will take Scott to write book 10 and then have Audible put it to production. Well, that’s what I get for getting so wrapped up in this series. i am comforted by the fact I have three more Jarvis book’s available. Somebody put SWC’s nose to the grind stone and crank out some more adventures. Looks like it will be a long summer waiting for more.

Very poor German accent by narrator.
Stick with the Bullshark in South Pacific as story line. The Caribbean connection was dull and out of character.

The author is attempting to put two books into one.
This is a first book by this author that I have not enjoyed. I felt like he was either out of material or trying to set up another series. I was distracted by the change of theater and submarine action. Overall I enjoyed each story but I also felt distracted. I wish I could recommend this book but I cannot.
