This book is intended for adult listeners. It contains scenes of an intimate sexual nature, as well as themes and depictions of violence, sexual assault, and death.

Don’t pass this one up for the romance and fantasy lovers out there. It has something for everyone!!!!

I don’t normally read/listen to paranormal or fantasy books, but I have to say this is one of the best this year thus far. It suck’s you into a world you don’t want to leave. It has a little of everything and brings some heat as well. Can’t beat this sapphic romance/fantasy!!! 😍 This is a new author for me and she did a phenomenal job as well as the great Abby Craden as narrator. Please give this a try and make sure to leave a good review so the rest of the series can be placed on audible as well with Abby Craden as the continuing narrator. Enjoy!

A lot to follow but worth it!

I had so many questions during this book and after it ended as well. I was initially very frustrated and I thought about the missing information all day for several days. Then I realized, Aoibh had written a fantastic debut book!! And got the fabulous AC to narrate! She definitely left me wanting more, especially if AC is back coming back as the narrator.

Original Story Line

Best urban fantasy I’ve listened to recently. It picked up pretty quickly and had a solid story in addition to the lesbian romance aspect. I was satisfied with the ending…but I still want to know what happens next. I’ll listen to the next books, no question.

Never dissappointed by a Narrator as amazingly talented as Abby (GOAT).

The Fantasy genre does not make it into my top 10...( but Women Detectives is my top 1)...
.so happy I followed Abby here and discovered an equally as talented author.

Can not wait for the followup releases in this series on audible.

Ms Wood, add one more to your solid fanbase. I hope you are able to continue with Abby Craden for your future works!!

A new take on a favored old Genre, mixing in some LesRom !

Couldn’t put it down!

The character development and the relationships and the trama! Everything was so well written and Abby knocked it out the park with the narration.

This spoke to me and was highly enjoyable.

Being a wounded Iraq, combat vet and lesbian. This book spoke to me on several different levels. I also love how it kept me guessing. And I honestly didn't expect some of the turns. It took a really fun read. And I can't wait to get started on the sequel.

great writing

I really enjoyed this. There were twists and turns, and I couldn't guess which direction events would go. I loved that. There are a few triggering scenes so be sure you're aware of warnings before you listen.
I'm looking forward to reading the second book!

Characters well developed, great narration

Vampire lesbian stories have gotten a little cliché, but this story has some nice twists and turns.

I had this on my wishlist for sooo long and I’m so thankful I finally picked it up. I couldn’t stop listening and am immediately getting the rest of the series.

Abby did an amazing job with the narration like always. This story has many accents and she nailed them all

I’m usually not a fan of first person but quickly got past it because of how well the mc is written. The other characters are great too. I love this series!
