"The sight of three naked, bloody men wandering into the clearing with moonlight clouding their eyes would probably send anyone else running for their life. I just sighed and watched them walk toward me."
As the first female vampire successfully turned in 700 years, Lissa finds herself in demand by the Vampire Aristocracy. Forced into an unexpected engagement as a result, Lissa feels trapped and stifled as she continues training with her surrogate sire. When a request comes from the Grand Master of the werewolves, Weldon Harper, Lissa leaps at the opportunity to work as his bodyguard once more.
Wlodek, Head of the Vampire Council, in an effort to solidify vampire/werewolf relations, allows Lissa to provide protection for the Grand Master during his yearly travels across the U.S. The only vampire ever named Pack, Lissa is permitted to work with the Grand Master without supervision from others of her kind.
Things become complicated and then downright deadly as old enemies reemerge. Intent on exacting revenge for a failed coup against the Grand Master, rogue werewolves join with new and perilous allies. Now, Lissa must find a way not only to keep the werewolf race alive, but the vampires as well.

If you could sum up Blood Passage in three words, what would they be?
Action, drama and romance. What did you like best about this story?
The cliffhanger at the end, I couldn't wait to get the next book. What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?
Great character voices, you can always tell who is speaking, each one has a unique pitch, tone and accent. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I can't choose, there were times I laughed out loud (on public transport oops) and times I cried. The whole book is so well written and narrated that it draws you in.Any additional comments?
What a great second book for the series. I often find second books disappointing, but I actually liked this one better than book one, a bit of a surprise since I consider book one a five star book.I've fallen in love with Connie Suttle's writing and Traci Odom's narration, I'm hooked.
I stopped reading vampire novels about 10 years ago when they started to bore me with the repetition but this series has me considering looking for other new vampire books.
Spellbindingly well written

Would you listen to Blood Passage again? Why?
I've read the first two books and they're really good. My question is will they get the third book. I've noticed audibles good about getting like the first two and then never getting the last one. I am dyslexic and I cannot read. So I use audible to listen to books. Case in point Julie Kagawa !Who was your favorite character and why?
