More like a step by step on buying Bitcoin
I guess I already knew when the description said it is for the “business” person, but this book contains little to no information on the actual technological functions of blockchain. The writer assumes that blockchain is a good idea, instructing you that you obviously need to get on the bandwagon, and states how blockchain will change every industry in the world, describing what problems will be solved, without actually outlining how those results will be accomplished through blockchain.
I was looking for something with more fundamental theory around blockchain, how it works technically, from a technical perspective why it would be superior to other options, but there is no consideration in this book for any other viewpoint than that blockchain will dominate the future. Period.
If you want only the very most superficial explanation of what a blockchain is with metaphors and analogies, this might be the book for you, if you have any interest in the technical aspects, skip this one.
