The distributed nature of a blockchain is what makes them so useful when preventing fraud, it also makes them extremely inefficient. When it comes to the cost of all of the additional computer resources as well as the electricity that these resources consume, the cost is enough to be probative in numerous scenarios.

I had no idea what blockchain is but I kept seeing it in the news. I got this book to educate me better about what the purposes of blockchain is and the future our economical and society are heading towards. I really find that how currency can work in a more secure future really interesting with blockchain!
