Zone Manirat has always lived in the shadow of his older brothers—Interpol agent Kit and luxury car mogul Kam. Once he's proves himself on one of Bangkok’s elite semi-pro racing teams, he’ll carve his own space: a fast car, a girl who understands him, and a life finally his. And now, he wants more.

Silo—family friend, ghost from the past, and agent with Thailand’s National Intelligence Agency—offers him a covert assignment: infiltrate his own racing team to uncover a high-tech data-trafficking ring. Zone doesn’t hesitate. He’s ready. More than ready. This is the thrill he’s been chasing, the adrenaline he lives for—and he’ll do whatever it takes to succeed.

But nothing about this assignment is simple:

  • Iris, his girlfriend, is recruited too.
  • They’re working for two different agencies—and neither knows the full story.
  • The USB drive left by Zone’s dead best friend may hold the key to everything—or destroy what’s left.

As loyalties blur and secrets unravel, Zone races against time, against enemies, and against the very people he loves.

Fast cars. High stakes. Secrets and betrayal in every turn.

For fans of spy thrillers, undercover missions, Southeast Asian settings, and heart-pounding action.

Picking up where Impasse left off, Blindspot is a thrilling ride that doesn’t let go. The characters are both diverse and unique, and you care about each one of them in turn. (Zone’s my personal favorite. :D) I love both the great descriptions and the dry humor throughout. The tension and execution of the novel is completely brilliant, especially as you watch the characters try to figure out who the hidden enemy really is. And also, that ending. I’ll definitely be reading the next book, because I HAVE to know what happens next! The narrator is also phenomenal and really brings the story even more to life. I appreciated all the accents and the heart he brought to the story. I really hope he does the rest of the series! Overall, Blindspot is a great book that’s worth your time!

Excellent Story, Awesome Narrator

Three brothers deal with the aftermath of losing their father and struggle to heal their bond. Zone, the youngest, and a rookie racer, feels like he's got something to prove. When he gets in over his head and makes himself a direct target of the man who's determined to destroy his family, it's time for his older brothers to figure out how to break down the barriers between them and come together to face the threat.

I loved watching the growth of these characters and the friends and family connected with them. Chelsea Frandsen is great at creating atmosphere, entertaining dialogue, and exhilarating race sequences. While the steam level of the romance is a little, well, steamy for me personally, there's great nuance of emotion. Also, I really despise the villain, which is the intention, and I'm anxious to see how things turn out in the next book!

The narrator made each character distinct and the emotions and expression were spot on. Other than a couple of skips (which may or may not have been the Audible player?) the audio quality was great.

Three brothers must heal and come together in facing an antagonist who's out for them and everyone they care about.
