Publisher's summary

What if Romeo wore hockey skates, and Juliet was raised on a farm next door?

As a lifelong Vermonter, there are three beliefs I’ve always held true:

  1. Our family farm is everything.
  2. Hockey is a close second.
  3. The Todds next door are our sworn enemies.

But this season will test everything I stand for.

I have an illicit side job that could cost me my hockey scholarship. And now Maggie Todd knows my secret. She’s waiting for the right moment to use it against me. But every time I face off against her, I learn things I shouldn’t want to know. Like how deeply her competitive streak runs, and how sexy that is. And how easy it is to make her blush...everywhere.

An Adler and a Todd cannot be lovers. Breaking that rule is like pulling a pin on a grenade - everything in my life could blow up. Can we surrender to these feelings...or will our families’ feud make us its next casualty?

Love it!

Another Teddy book.
Another win for me!

4.5 Enemies to Lovers stars.

Man, this book was great! The feud, the banter, the sexy times.

There wasn't a single thing I disliked about Tate and Magnolia. NOTHING.

Seriously, even their drama wasn't anything they did. It was family drama and out of their control. I love that it wasn't insta-love or a miscommunication.

I liked the build-up and the tension. And that first angry time in the barn? Yep.

I'm here for all of this. If this is what Victoria Denault has to offer, someone tell me what to read next.
And this Moo U series is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

Loved the Vermont spin on this Hockey Romance

I’m all about hockey romances and I was excited to start into a new series. I agree with another reviewer, there wasn’t much hockey in this one, however the story held on its own. Loved the Enemies to Lovers storyline and narration was on point. Looking forward to more of this series.

So much love for this book

Let me start by saying that Magnolia and Tate are smoking hot together. Their chemistry is off the charts. This book is a fun enemies to lovers romance that I could not put down. Both main characters are strong-willed and proud young adults that are trying to keep their families farms afloat . I got so invested in these characters I was yelling advise at them like they could hear me. The author created such a vivid world with very deep characters that you just can't help but care for.  I love the added family feud drama. It really gave the relationship that extra layer of urgency. And the ending twist was one I definitely did not see coming. Great book.
The audiobook was actually a reread for me and it made the book that much better. Teddy and Erin were the perfect Tate and Maggie.

Loved this enemies to lovers romance!

I loved Blindsided. It has a bit of everything. A family feud, hate to love chemistry, hilarious antics, a swoony hockey hero and sassy heroine set in Sarina Bowen’s True North World. I devoured this.

Maggie is smart, sassy and sweet. She is part of the Todd family whom rival the Adler’s.

Tate plays hockey at Vermont University. He is hard working and loves his family despite their flaws and issues with the Todd’s. He didn’t have any qualms about put them in their place when it came to the families never ending feud.

Maggie and Tate have fantastic chemistry. The hate to love made for some bedroom scenes that had me fanning myself. Although there were some qualities of the characters that I found slightly immature it in no way took from my overall love for their story. This was my first book by Victoria Denault and I adored her writing. I’ll most definitely be on the lookout for more of her work in the future.

Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon are two of my favourite narrators. They never disappoint with the passionate and humorous story telling and totally knocked this one out of the park!

Phew, Romeo and Juliet in the country!

This was seriously so cute, and no one had to die like in the real Romeo and Juliet lol True North is a series I will forever come back to but finding this series just made it better! It ties in new characters to a world we already know and it’s fantastic! Tate and Maggie are a slow burn that you will enjoy waiting for!

So far the best in the series

I'm halfway through the series and I keep coming back to this book. I absolutely love the plot. I prefer books with many secondary characters as it adds dynamics to the story (good few character books are hard to come by). Here, there is banter, drama (but nothing that would leave me shuttered for hours) and I like college students books in general, so that was already a win for me. Also I like couples with a cocky hero and a strong willed and confident heroine - there's a lot of dynamics between the two. The big reveal of the roots on animosity between the families was quite surprising. The book has a happy ending, strongly recommend.
