Significantly, the official Australian history of World War II correctly observed that Australia's part in the Pacific war is barely mentioned in American histories. This is the best depiction of the terrible air battles from WWII that I've seen. I would say it's a must read for the children of WWII bomber crews. The details and the analytical look back at the results are astounding.
