Better than I ever expected, but Cliffhanger

I have read many such stories in this genre and they are usually pretty basic; entertaining, but nothing that you couldn't read another book in between before finishing. Not so this one to me at all.

I am so glad that I bought both the books in this case so I can immediately jump into the next one.

I wouldn't dream of putting this one down to finish later!

Meghan March's writing is always Phenomenal and her books always keep me completely captivated and enthralled but this is the first time I have listened to one of her books on audible and wow, they have taken it to a new level.

The Narrators have done a phenomenal job bringing this story to life, they have brought the emotions out in full force and made me feel everything so much more.

The storyline is exciting enough that it keeps you on the edge of your seat, the narration brings goosebumps out.

Can't wait to listen to the next instalment. that cliffhanger has left me stunned with my heart pounding

Meghan March does it again!

I don't know how she does it, but I fall in love with every single one of her characters. She's also the queen of dangerous, but oh so delicious men who take care of their women. I just love her stories and Black Sheep is no exception. So glad I chose this for my first audiobook. Andi and Sebastian were perfect.

Reminder - This is a DUET! Black Sheep = Part 1.

If you've read Meghan March books in the past, you're well aware she does write Duet books every now and then.

I personally am not a fan of Duet Books and I felt Part 1 could have been shorter and more to the point.
Drew and Cannon are interesting characters to start, but then we get a lot of run around and back and forth between their thoughts. If you don't mind characters and their internal struggle between right and wrong, left or right, this or that, then this point won't bother you.
Now onto the good parts, the Narration!! AA and SebYo do a FANTASTIC job on this book.. I honestly think this is what made me give this book an Overall rating of 4stars. If I had read it, I don't think my impression of the story and characters would be as favourable. Black Sheep 'reads' Really really well as an Audiobook. Also, another reminder.... this IS a Duet!! So expect to be either left wanting more, or frustrated by the time you've finished reading 'Part 1'.

On a side Note, and without giving away a possible Spoiler, I'll generalize my thought on Mafia Leader Dominic Casso, but if you don't want to possibly be spoiled.... Look away now!! ......
.... I'd hate to think what "could", "would", "might", happen to Drew during the book. The things that come to mind are Triggers and by that.... I mean the possibility of 'rape'. Maybe because he's a Mafia Leader and he 'has the right' to do as he pleases? I don't know...... And i'd hate to think what he's done to other women in the past.

Liked the story, characters and voice acting. Hot and steamy. Sebastian York’s voice is amazing.

Okay, y'all. Just yes. Meghan March and her not quite legit or above board alpha men are going to do me in every single time. You may have met Cannon Freeman in Meghan's earlier books, but you haven't seen him like this. And, true to form, we've got a heroine who can more than hold her own in her dealings with the boss man, and mesmerize him while doing so. Drew Carson is a woman on a mission, and she's not stopping until she's got all the answers. If only keeping away from Cannon was as easy...

BLACK SHEEP has all the markings of Meghan's best books, with characters that you'll fall in love with right away, a tautly constructed plot that doesn't let up, and, oh, yeah, plenty of "those" scenes. You know, the ones that make you wish you had a tall cool drink and a fan. But there's more here than just insta-lust, and this is one book that you will keep you hooked until the very end.

And, yes, yes she did. As cliffie writer extraordinaire, Meghan brings this book to a close with a bang, one that'll have you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for more, more, more. But, never fear, WHITE KNIGHT, the sure-to-be-awesome wrap-up in this dirty duet, is ready for your listening pleasure with just one click.

Andi Arndt and Sebastian York have worked their usual magic, bringing these characters and their stories to vivid life. They are two of the absolute best, and work together like a dream. I never get tired of their narration, and BLACK SHEEP is no exception. So, prepare yourself, queue up WHITE KNIGHT, and let the magic continue.

Blown Away!!

I’m Blown Away!! I believe this is one of Meghan’s best books ever! From beginning to end you are immersed into intrigue, suspense and the challenges of right and wrong. OMG, Cannon and Drew’s chemistry is Amazingl! Once again, Cliffhanger leaves you wanting more!!
