Despite arguments that race no longer matters, Pattillo-McCoy shows a different reality, one where Black and White middle classes remain separate and unequal.

great story by the of the flow of the reading is interrupted with the reading of two many footnotes

Footnotes are disruptive.

Horrible flow. Narration includes the reading of footnotes “author, book, date, publisher”. The narrator has read of up to 4 different footnotes. Stick to the book.

In depth and informative

Get past the intro. Many real life experiences true to form. Usually do not listen to these types of books but it was well worth it.
