About this listen

Orson Welles, host and narrator of Black Museum, welcomed listeners to Scotland Yard's "warehouse of homicide", containing everyday objects that either brought a killer to justice or were used to do a killer's dirty work. In each episode, Welles strolls through the "repository of death", selects one object, and tells its story.Take another tour of the Black Museum.©2006 Radio Spirits Inc. (P)2006 Radio Spirits Inc. Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This was a radio program probably from the 30's or 40's. It was a great story and I enjoyed it very much. I would recommend it to others who like a good short program. 30 minutes.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I expected the ending, so it wasn't a surprise. Very satisfying.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration was perfect. I love listening to Orson Welles.

Do you think Black Museum needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I hope that there are other programs like it out there. It has a great premise. Take an object from Scotland Yard's Black Museum and tell it's story. The item in this episode was a Chain. Excellent

Any additional comments?

I hope Audible will get additional episodes of this radio program to enjoy. Highly recommended.

Orson Welles was made for radio! What a voice!
