Great book love reading and the sound advice,a man

Isaiah my failure to take a risk is something I ponder on everyday, when you reached out to me I allowed fear of myself to hinder the end goal but not any more,if there is one thing my brother death taught me is live and love

Jam-Packed with Life Lessons

When I got this book I was expecting to learn more about how to focus on tasks at hand but the book talks more about how to focus on life and business in general. In other words, it teaches you how to maneuver in a way that's effective and predictable so you get the most out of your efforts and live a meaningful and fulfilling life. This audiobook contains 54 short chapters that highlight different lessons in each one. Get ready to learn A LOT. I'm not swapping this book as I've realized that I'm going to be referring back to it often. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

One of the best book in years

I learned a lot from reading this book. Mindful purpose. This book really goes a long way to reveal the core of our disease as humans a dresses not only the symptoms but the cause.

Inspired and inspiring

Finished over 3 days while commuting; very inspirational; speaker was clear and engaging even if he pronounced three words funny through the course of the entire book. Looking forward to applying this to my life!

There is too much information and too much to grasp. felt like the author has so much to say. i struggled to finish it. But i have heard it thrice and still listening to it.

Catchy title, disappointing content

I bought the book due to its title - I thought I was buying a book on how to intensify my focus to "black hole" levels, which would be a great skill for anyone engaged in creative work. Unfortunately, the book didn't have anything that would help me with that.

If you have already read a book on self help or popular psychology, you won't find much, if anything, new in this one.

It is a mix and match collection of popular motivational and goal setting approaches, borrowed from different sources. There was nothing original in this book that I haven't already read elsewhere or can't find on blogs or in free articles with a google search for any topic covered. I would rather call it an organized collection of clippings than an original book.

That said, if you have never read a book or know anything about setting goals, striving to achieve more, managing your life on a very basic level or staying motivated, then this book could serve as a primer.

This is not intended as criticism of the author, who obviously means well and wrote the book with a helpful intent. But based on the title, I expected something else than "goal setting and achievement for dummies" - namely, a book on how to stay focused (which I have a problem with at times). Unfortunately, the book offers very little advice on focus, and none of that was new to me or had anything to do with "intelligent people" (anyone can use the stuff in this book, but hopefully, most "intelligent people" who read regularly have already found out most of it for themselves.)
