Publisher's summary

Lone wolf Shaun Stevens' automatic response to the words "happily ever after"? Kill me now. Yet with all his friends settling down, he's begun to think there may actually be something to this love-and-roses crap. One thing's for sure: His dream mate will have to out-cuss, out-spit, and out-hike him. So he never expected the one to push his forever button would be a blue-blooded Southern debutante with a voice as dark and velvety as her skin.

When Gemmita Jacobs steps off the plane in Whitehorse, Yukon, it's about more than her caribou research project. It's her declaration of independence from an overprotected upbringing. Except there's something in the air she can't quite define - something that unexpectedly rouses her mating instincts. Moments after their eyes lock, the deed is done - and done thoroughly. When the pheromone dust settles, though, all the reasons they don't belong together become painfully clear. It's enough to make a wolf learn a whole new set of cuss words....

Warning: Two strong wolves getting exactly what they deserve. Includes wilderness nookie, shifters being naughty in public places, the Midnight Sun as a canopy for seduction, and grizzly shifters on the loose. Oh, and don't forget the sarcasm.

Fun story, great narration

The story was fairly well thought out, if a little trite in spots. Really liked the characters of supporting roles. Would read/listen again.

Too much

The narrator was just too much. I've listened to many audios but she really stunk otherwise the book would of been a little better

great book

The narrator is amazing, I loved the way she made me feel their emotions simply by her tone and it did not sound forced or lame accents. Great story!

Black Gold

I have to say that Madison Vaughn did a great job with this book. She does a very good “drunk” scene which is hard to get right. Story was entertaining.

Black female southern wolf find her mate.BWWM

I kind of wanted this pure breed alpha black female to be mated with the alpha but, when you find your "mate" you don't have a choice. Perhaps there will me more stories about these 2 couples adventures. What about another try to kidnap her. Nice story

A little too cheesy for a Shifter Romance

So I can't complain too much since this is a seriously cheap book but I must say you get what you pay for...
It started off a little better than it ended...just not enough depth in the story. Also I just couldn't really get that these were two star faded mates destined to be together. I just didn't get the feel of these characters are really in love, they seemed weak and whinny.
There's nothing worse than a 350 pound scary wimp of a wolf

What Are You Looking For?

Too much sex, not enough storyline. Characters stereotypical, minimally drawn. When I purchased this ebook, "Insatiable Press" wasn't shown in the summary. If it had been, I would have realized what was being offered, and passed this book by.
