Pure fire from start to finish
Every thing periodt was simultaneously stimulating my cognitive functioning. Where do I find the mental capacity to translate my thoughts into words that could describe the brilliant work of art and narration delivered in this soul stirring emotional gut wrenching book. All I can say is read this book then listen to this masterpiece.

oh what an ending!
I am a major DG fan, this is my 4th book by him. I love the Calm cool and collected demeanor of Prince, but man I was not expecting that ending 💔 Great read!

Donald Goines: The Master of Hood Storytellers
I’ve read all of Donald Goines’ books and they are gritty and REAL! This audiobook narration just adds to the thrill. The narrator did an excellent job adding depth and realism to the story. I recommend all of Donald Goines’ books to anyone that can handle the truth about racism, police brutality, corrupt systems of just US and poverty… To those who live in a bubble and are scared to death then I suggest you LEAVE IT ALONE!

I started reading his books as teen
I grew up loving iceberg and Donald my uncle introduced me to him thru dope fiend this was the most heartbreaking story and I’ve read all of their books and to hear them when I’m older read by this superb narrator has me excited about my next audiobook
