Publisher's Summary

No one weaves a story as well as beloved New York Times best-selling author Fern Michaels. In the latest in the Sisterhood series, a team of unscrupulous doctors is profiting from others' distress - but these loyal friends know just the cure....

For the Sisterhood, there's a special satisfaction that comes with helping a friend in need, especially when its someone as dear as Charlotte Hansen. Myra Rutledge's childhood friend has spent tens of thousands of dollars on remedies to boost longevity. But far from improving her health, the medications seem to be destroying it.

Myra becomes suspicious of the trio of doctors in charge of the program, especially once the Sisterhood's investigations reveal that one patient has died and another lapsed into a coma. While those in their care suffer, the three doctors - located in London, Aspen, and New York - all enjoy indulgent lifestyles and extravagant toys. But justice is always the best medicine - and no one dispenses it better than the Sisterhood....

Fern Michaels Never Disappoints

Loved it! Can't believe I've read the majority of the Sisterhood Books, but they are so enjoyable. It has been a few years since I last read one, but I was able to pick up on the characters like it was yesterday. Helping people who are suffering, in particular women, is the aim of the Sisters and the Brothers who have joined them.

Started with a Bang

It started with potential but fell a bit flat toward the end. Still enjoyable just not as good as some of the others. The narrator seemed to struggle keeping the voices straight.

Not too terribly complicated, easy to "read "

Easy book to "read" while commuting to work, was able to leave off over a long weekend & still pick the story up.
The "sisters " are fun with seemingly limitless money and talents

Yeah, a little bit of a pill

Fern Michaels is one of my very favorite authors, and I am always chomping at the bit for the next book in her Sisterhood Series. This one was a bit of a disappointment though, and it surprised me greatly that it wasn't up to her usual standard. In my opinion, this one was both predictable and redundant in ways that made me wonder if the original storyline was too short and had a lot of duplicate information thrown in at the last minute to make it long enough and still reach a deadline? I have listened to most of her books twice. I did listen to this one to the end, but I didn't enjoy it well enough to ever listen to it again. Huge kudos to her reader though -- that was 100% top-notch as always, and probably the only reason I did listen to the end. Laural Merlington is so great. I'm looking forward to more from both the author and the reader.

Bitter Pill

Fern Michaels has done it again, Great story. Love that creeps are brought to justice and no one is killed to do it. Characters are believable, interesting and mischievous! I love the series.
