Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.

So glad I finally started this series!

Bishop and Brooke meet with the intent of a one-night stand. They surprisingly see each other at the Vengeance offices, and after things get out of hand, Brooke blurts out that she and Bishop are engaged. After the initial shock and a few “hell no’s,” Brooke convinces Bishop to go along w/her fake engagement story until they can orchestrate a breakup.

With a fake engagement as their story, Bishop and Brooke don’t see why they can’t continue a physical relationship. After all, their one-night stand was the most memorable night for both of them. They’re both adults. What could go wrong? Famous last words...

Both with their own backstory and reason for staying single, their chemistry is off the charts. Their physical attraction is obvious, but both are surprised as they slowly get to know one another, that they’re really good people. This was a great love story. Seriously hot scenes and plenty of dirty talk, but you know that’s what Sawyer brings to her hot AF hockey players.

Bishop’s teammates are great, and I can’t wait to get to their stories. I listened to the audiobook, and Lance Greenfield and Kirsten Leigh do a wonderful job narrating.

This storyline felt like it wasn’t a typical fake relationship sports romance. It had many great qualities that set it aside from some of the others I’ve read. Great characters, family drama and good sex, this book has it all.
The narration was absolutely fantastic from both narrators.
Well done everyone!

Loved the narration on this one. Really brought the book to life.

This is the first book in a new series from Sawyer Bennett and she is off to a flying start and I do believe she has another winning series on her hands. This is Bishop Scott and Brooke Perron’s story.
This is hockey at it’s finest. I loved the dynamic between Bishop and Brooke, he is sexually dominant and knows what he wants and goes after it. Hooking up for what they both expect to be a one night stand, Bishop is shocked when he finds out that Brooke is the daughter of his new coach and even worse that she also works for the team.
I was absolutely hooked on this book from the first to the last chapter and couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and I loved the banter and humour as well. Throwing up a smokescreen engagement when her father catches them kissing it was fun to see these two travel the path together as the walls between them fell.
There is plenty of action on and off the ice and I cannot wait to see where Sawyer Bennett takes this team and I am excited for the next release in the series.

great story, great narration!!!

I purchased this book because I follow Lance Greenfield. He narrates a majority of this book. Also I like Sawyer's writing. I've not read her Cold Fury series, so the hockey bit was new to me. It's a great story about two people who hook up once and it turns into real feelings. Throw in a fake engagement and a crazy friend and you've got this gem. I'm looking forward to more in this series. I'll read them all. No matter who narrates.

If you like hot and funny

I got this book free from a friend and I am hooked I can not wait to listen to the rest of the series. The narrator’s were really good. The story is great it’s romantic funny steamy and the chemistry of the characters is great. I loved the interaction between the other players. Great book

A definite 3.75 🌟

A good story with great narration. This story starts out 🔥. Sexy and steamy from chapter 1! I personally struggled with the reason behind the fake engagement but I enjoyed how they fell into the relationship. The narration was really good and I liked how some of the future characters are introduced in this book. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Great book but abrupt ending

Great story and I’m looking forwarding to reading entire series. My only complaint ia that the end came abruptly. Could have had an epilogue even if a short one. I’m assuming future books in the series will have updates from characters in this book.

The Fake Fiancé

Brooke Perron decided to have a one night stand. She threw caution to the wind and said yes to the sexiest man she’s ever seen. After a night of mind blowing sex, she knows she’ll never see him again. She has taken a job with the Arizona Vengeance Organization where her Father has been selected to be the Head Coach. As she’s getting settled into her office, a blast from her recent past breezes in and things get interesting when Daddy walks in and finds them in a very compromising position.
Bishop Scott is looking for a new start. Part of that new start is transferring to the new expansion NHL team, the Arizona Vengeance. He decides to go out and hit the town and encounters a gorgeous woman who is looking for the same thing he is…no strings attached sex. What he didn’t count on was seeing the same woman when he goes to the Vengeance facility. Remembering what they shared gets them both hot and bothered….then boom, she’s introducing him as her Fiancé!
The Good: This was a fun and sexy read! I enjoyed their chemistry and how they had to pretend that they were engaged. Brooke’s Father was hilarious in his dealings with Bishop in the true fashion of a Dad who is protective of his Daughter.
The Bad: Ok, I love everything that Sawyer Bennett writes, however, I did not like the way this ended. I felt like I needed more of a bang at the end. Especially with the craziness of Brooke’s friend and the way Brooke ran off after the shit hit the fan.
The Ugly: A friend who is jealous that makes trouble for someone who’s helping her sucks and on top of that, she lies and tries to ruin lives while she’s on her own destructive path.
As always, Sawyer Bennett spins a tale of drama, comedy, and sexiness. This spin off of the Carolina Fury Series is just as addictive and leaves you wanting to go to hockey games just to ogle the players. Each story is different, each player has their own unique story. You will fall in love with her band of Alpha Hockey Players. Bishop and Brooke are a match made in heaven and when he figures out he’s in love, your heart will melt. I highly recommend this new series. You won’t be disappointed. Solid 4 ½ Star Read!

What a start to a series

I started with Tacker in this Arizona Vengeance series, and it made me want to find out all about the other players and the ladies who make them love.

And what a way to start the series.. one night stand turned fake fiance, love it. Bishop and Brooke embark on their fake relationship to cover them both, but soon things turn.. deeper. Realer. These two mix heat with emotion in the best way.

The audiobook is awesome!
