Many people want to know where narcissists come from. Are they born with certain differences in their brains? Is narcissism genetic? Do narcissists come from parents who are abusive, overindulgent, overprotective or neglectful? All of these things may be true depending upon the severity of the narcissistic traits.
This book seeks to define how the narcissist came to be. In learning the development of the narcissist, we can pick apart his interior world and dissect his behaviors. We can educate ourselves in order to become less sensitive to the narcissist's self-destructive ways. We can learn to turn a deaf ear on the poor behaviors of the narcissist and not allow these behaviors to change who we are.
The contents herein are intended to provide listeners with a look into the narcissistic way of life so that they can better understand a narcissist. People who cannot educate themselves on being around a narcissist can become seriously mentally ill with constant contact with a narcissist. Those who can educate themselves can emotionally distance themselves from the self-sabotage that is the narcissist's nature. They may learn to put boundaries in place despite their choice to continue any kind of relationship with a narcissist.
