From the Catholic perspective, Yet very Practical

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Sure. It was helpful to think about these various issues and concerns of marriage. Especially good for someone who has not yet been married, or is not very familiar with marriages and the issues faced.

What was one of the most memorable moments of What I Wish Someone Had Told Me About the First Five Years of Marriage?

It is all memorable.

What does Roy Petitfils bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings to life the meaning and emphasis of his own work. Well done.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

You should sit down with your spouse prior to marriage and figure out what roles your in-laws should play in your lives, what each of you might be expecting and wanting to accept, what you in-laws might be thinking, and then also how much involvement you want to accept from your various in-laws, and what kind of boundaries will you both agree to set and to enforce within your marriage towards in-laws.

Any additional comments?

Helpful. Well done.
