Publisher's summary

The former assistant to the president and director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison in the Trump White House provides a jaw-dropping look into the corruption and controversy of the current administration.

Few have been a member of Donald Trump’s inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship has spanned 15 years - through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship has come to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa is finally ready to share her side of the story in this explosive, jaw-dropping account.

A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, Unhinged is a must-listen for any concerned citizen.

Can you say self-aggrandizing?

Omarosa’s story is about how she rose above humble difficult beginnings to become a powerhouse in her own mind in the White House. Her bitterness comes through in her complaints about how the Clinton campaign did not recognize her contributions, about how trump’s staff did not recognize her contributions and finally about how trump with the help of John Kelly betrayed her in the end. Through it all she continued to rise above and more importantly to get even with her detractors. An interesting read about a deeply flawed individual.

An Unhinged Book.

We were in Virginia about to head home to NY when we bought the Audio book. We speeded up the book and skipped some of her droning stories. It did make the long ride easier.

Nothing really new for those that are sadly following this mess. It's her life story, some White House details and how batshit crazy Trump is getting.

So I'll just assume the interesting details are in the so called tapes.

A great view of DJT pandemonium

The book gives a good insider’s view of the pandemonium of the DJT White House. I recommend it, especially to those fellow Republicans still supporting the current Administration.

TWIN EGO: Omarosa and Trump

Like attracts like. Here is a story of two desperate citizens who will do anything to win even if it destroys everybody. However, what is amazing and very apparent, is the twin get their friend to do all the dirty deeds. It would make a great reality television show, except this is one cable station we, Americans, are stuck in and we can't twit our way out. Stay tuned to this station, we guarantee each episode will have you wondering what else could possibly go wrong and then the never ending saga continues. The good news is that, this is public television. Paid for by your tax dollars and brought to you straight from the White House.

Truly fair and balanced

My first thought that a book from Omarosa would be just another way to promote herself. In a way perhaps, it is, but it is also a thoughtful, honest, well written account of her lessons learned from a 15 year connection to Donald Trump.

Gained new understanding of Omarosa

This was a fascinating behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the White House. I admit I had certain preconceptions, but Omarosa asks that we hear her out, so I did. She takes us with her on a journey into a world that, fair or not, she likens to membership in a cult - dishing the dirt along the way.

If nothing else, I feel I understand her better now.

And her narration was pretty good.

Entertaining to some degree

Should have been titled “Omarosa” since she wrote mainly about herself. I have to say I did not like her until I read the book and I now have an earned respect for her. The story was interesting and entertaining and the author likes to believe she saved the day and the skins of those around her but who knows as I said it was entertaining and I could not put the story aside.

Growing respect for Omarosa

insightful. Comes across as a genuine awakening and alarm-call concern for a one time friend.
