This book will help you know, love and appreciate your body

I've never read the book and I didn't know what to expect. Cameron Diaz has always struck me as a fun loving woman, one who's comfortable in her skin and loves it and it reflects in this book! Even better she has me learning things about my body that I didn't even know about.

Like she said, this is not a diet book or a book on exercise. This is a book about nutrition, about embracing hunger and giving our bodies the wholesome foods it needs. This is about moving our bodies, not to fit better in jeans (although that's a benefit) but to help our bones, our muscles, our heart, our brains and to increase our life's span. This is about the discipline of consistently taking care of our health for the rest of our lives.

This is about our bodies and how amazing, strong, powerful and unique they each are and it is a masterpiece (referring to our bodies and the book :) )

Good for basic knowledge and motivation.

Good for basic knowledge and motivation. If you are procrastinating your health and fitness activities then this will book will give you a kick. if you are already a health enthusiast you would probably already have most of the knowledge and be following most of the motivation tips offered by this book.

Life Changing

What did you like most about The Body Book?

This book is the best personal development book that I've read so far. The way the book is written and narrated was way beyond my expectations. It is like a conversation with one of your best friends. So many personal and practical tips, so inspiring and so worth listening again.... Can't recommend it highly enough!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. Big fan of Cameron Diaz, and very happy to realize that many things she was saying are already a daily habit of mine. I will keep on doing those things and incorporated many others already, one of which is drinking a liter of water after getting up in the morning. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion.

Brilliant

I loved this book, although I could have done without the gynaecologist stuff, which I skipped, I found out this book was aimed at young girls, oops anyway I loved it. I was disappointed that Cameron wasn't going to read the whole thing but actually the narrator was excellent and I thought she sounded so like Cameron! I found this book so inspiring so I bought the Longevity book - big mistake! Hated that - i had to keep skipping stuff because it made me feel old and depressed! But this book is highly recommend!

well thought out and planned book, learnt so much about my female body that I didnt know, and will implement so many of her techniques to my day to day life ... will be listening again for sure

Disappointing

I would have preferred Cameron to be the narrator throughout the book. The main narrator did not have a voice I enjoyed listening too. There were some interesting points, but some of the chapters were hard going.

great listen

loved this book.. it really gets you into a positive mindset and makes you want to work out and be healthy. Listened to this book everyday before work and it set me up for a good day. This book has also helped me learn abit more about nutrition and confirm some of the thing I am doing are right. for anyone wanting to better themselfs it is definetly worth a listen or read.

A nice little motivational book. Well read & informative. Personally found the reading out of the sub-headings annoying as there are quite a lot but worth a listen to nonetheless.
