Thank you Michael Eric Dyson for this memorable experience of to date The Greatest President of these United States of America. I got emotional even after the third time as well as on the occasion of the Eulogy for The Pastor. Amazing!

Mr. Dyson brilliantly navigates all of the praise, criticism , and complexity involved in this historic presidency and delivered as objective and informed a narrative as could have been imagined. Chapter 9 was one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

Slow start, great finish!

I'm not going lie, this book was a roller coaster, at first listen it was really informative and dry, but before I knew it, Mr. Dyson had gripping the safety bar and anticipating something real exciting. I love how he made the connect of going from a Black President to a Black President while still being the man we love and respect, great story.

Very enlightening...still love my Obama but was guilty of loving blindly. We never stop learning, growing...evolving. Am prouder today of our President then I ever was before.

The Truth Be Told

This book tells of the plight of mixed race people who grapple with the biases around them. It clearly showed how the most powerful man in America could not comfortably be himself without fighting his mother and father; Truly AMAZING GRACE!!! God Bless America.
This book is recommended to all African leaders Being a Black leader means nothing to to a white man who feels entitled even when he's not qualified or deserve what the black man has by virtue of God's Grace or the blood, sweat and sometimes life

The real first black President

The author highlights how even as President Mr Obama like all of us struggle with what it means to be an American of black ancestry. Will we ever get over our shameful past?
