She Does it Again!

Kelly-you nailed it again...all of the thoughts and uncertainties...the questioning...the dark side of being a parent and a human. And, with that raw realness...you are able to go beneath the surface to a place where, regardless of how the outside looks and what the specifics are, we can all connect to. I have followed you since that You Tube video speech you gave talking about the Pigeons...and, then, your own pigeons. I feel like we have been friends for years. Xo

Loved It

I bristle against profanity. It's a personal quirk that keeps me from 5 stars.

The best chapter on grief I've ever heard. The lilt in her voice is a treasure.

Thank you!!

This book made me laugh and cry, I don’t know which I did more. I just love the storytelling and in the end realize the timing of it was perfect in my life. I’m going to share with a lot of people who have experienced loss & questioned their place in this world!

wish I had paper & pencil to jot down my thoughts

What was one of the most memorable moments of Tell Me More?

I loved the realtionship between the author and her father. I wish I would have had a paper and pencil to jot down some of my thoughts. What great insight a life well lived is one where you have given love and are loved in equal measure.

What about Kelly Corrigan’s performance did you like?

I felt like Kelly was talking to me and we had been friends for a long time.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I wish I would have had the advice earlier in my life.

Great story

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Kelly does a great job of telling her story: one filled with love, sorrow, grief, companionship, and life. She creates a relatable narrative where it is easy to find your place as part of it.

honesty at it's best!

Kelly Corrigan has the gift of putting universal feelings into words. The letter to her friend Liz was particularly poignant.

Laughed and cried - magical!

Wow - this is my version of Eckart Tolle. I Have a friend who has been raving about the Power of Now to put everything in perspective but for my $ this s the book for that - and fun too!

The best book I’ve listened to!

I was so lucky to read a recommendation in people magazine for this book and I ordered it on audible. I couldn’t stop listening and I kept driving around town to finish it in two days. I highly recommend it!

Well Done, but Not What I Expected

The author relays the trials and tribulations of daily life well, but as the opening indicated the book hoped to relate stories of joy, I was surprised by how incredibly depressing, and sometimes gross the stories were. Well done, just not what I expected, or honestly, wanted.
