Hearing this story was awesome! I loved the honest and entertaining descriptions of Al's thoughts about the missionaries when she was first learning the gospel. She had me literally laughing outloud!

Game Changer!

This book absolutely pulled me out of a BIG funk I've been in for a while now. It helped me to focus on what I know is important and also to remind myself that God's plan for me will ALWAYS be better thank anything I can think up for myself. But I need to trust and believe that there is a plan! It reminded me that today is always the best thing to focus on. Don't worry about what happened yesterday or what will come tomorrow. Very encouraging message for anyone who struggles or feels different or unacceptable, which is pretty much everyone..

Very inspiring

This book is so inspiring. I don’t understand the reviews that say this isn’t an autobiography. It definitely is. She talks about her childhood, and growing up Catholic with her divorced parents. She talks about her teenage years and early twenties. She meets the missionaries at age 20, and from there talks about her conversion and the trials and blessings that came with that. Yes, the majority of the book is from age 20 on, but going off the title one would assume that the book is going to talk a lot about her journey with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Her journey is full of awe and relatable. Some of the experiences she had, my husband as a convert had as well. Her faith didn’t come easy, and she went through some hard times to build her knowledge and testimony.
I definitely recommend this book.
