Young Beethoven was from a musical family in Germany, and was a child prodigy who performed in public at an early age before establishing his long and storied career in Vienna. Mariana Amozurrutia describes in an almost musical style, her crystalline voice and appealingly rhythmic Spanish creating perfect harmony with Beethoven's music, which provides a beautiful anchor throughout this comprehensive biography.
