One of the most inspiring stories ever

Richard Branson is a unique entrepreneur: neither a computer geek nor an aggressive businessman - but one that admires life and want to make the most out of it. An inspiring story for anyone who aspires to build a business without sacrifices an entire life.

Story of a man you want to be

I have always admired Richard Branson. A lot to learn. How not to kick a guy once he has fallen even though he had tried to kill you. I always beleived EQ is better than IQ. This is firm proof.

Great story, food for thought!

Great read with a story you can feel part of in a way. If you were around in the eighties an nineties so many moments in the book will trigger moments relative to your life. Very interesting. Highly recommended red.

Where does Losing My Virginity rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I was already a big fan of Branson but this book really took it to another level. It's so captivating to hear it from the horse's mouth. Quite a few laugh out loud memorable moments. A really great book narrated by a truly inspirational guy.

Winning a bet against his Aunt if he swam across a river as a child and getting it over British Airways - both priceless stories.

What about Richard Branson’s performance did you like?

He is a sensational narrator!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, unfortunately life got in the way and I was forced to split it into 4-5 sessions ;)

Don't hesitate - a great listen!

Amazing book. Amazing Narrator.

Richard was always my inspiration. I started a business a few months ago and decided to read/listen (finally) his book. I love it.

Amazing stories from his childhood, first business, becoming a businessman, starting a Virgin group. And what is more important more advices from Richard. How to build, how to scale, how to have fun.

What is THE most important. Richard reads this book. He smiles when reads about funny moments, he's sad when he read about sad moments (like story about Iraq).

Short, great read, much value for your entrepreneurs.

I grew up admiring Richard Branson and reading this makes me understand his vitality and drive. I really enjoyed listening to him read the book in particular as you could tell at points he was getting emotional. Now I just need to find another book just as good!

Entertaining, Insightful, and Real

I listened to this book from start to finish in an evening. I've never done that before, Branson's book was just so captivating, authentic, and inspiring - I just had to finish it. Likely the best business book I've heard or read.

RB

If you are looking for a self help book in how to be successful, you could be disappointed.
This is a memoir from Richard Branson - basic lt telling what he wants to tell about his life.
I enjoyed it, there are some lessons to be learnt but that's it.

Regarding Branson's performance, it was ok but his voice could be a bit tricky to listen at times. Sometimes the tone of his voice changed so drastically between parts, I thought that he got sick between readings.
