Publisher's Summary

In his first memoir, Soul on the Street, Britain's most beloved actor, William Roache, shared his spiritual beliefs and experiences with the public for the first time. Now, in Life and Soul, William shares his most recent life experiences and the wisdom gained through these.

Recent years have seen William live through extremely challenging events, such as the death of his wife and of a close friend, and a harrowing court case for alleged abuse. This audiobook is an honest account of these events, but most importantly, it is a unique insight into how William was able to live through these challenges with strength, hope, and dignity. William will teach listeners about the power of gratitude, forgiveness, kindness, and positive thinking. He shares the lifestyle habits that keep him healthy at the age of 85 and about the importance of taking responsibility for your health, your wealth, and your happiness. William hopes that the lessons he has learned will help many others on their journeys.

Thank you William for sharing so much with us all

I'm old enough to remember watching Ken Barlow in those early black & white episodes wjen Annie & Jack Walker ran to pub and Ena Sharples played the harmonium, but haven't watched Corrie for 20 years or more, so I certainly didn't buy this audiobook because I'm a fan of William Roache. However, something struck a cord when I saw him interviewed about his book and I was moved by his vitality and openness about his beliefs. I got so much more out of this book than I could have imagined. I listened to it all on day while convalescing from a chest infection so I had to just sit quietly. Having heard how William thinks, it won't surprise him to learn that his book was both healing and informative to me. As my health began to improve I was starting to see the world through his eyes and appreciating it all the more for his wisdom and insight. Thank you William for opening up my heart. I've bought the book for a friend who is enjoying now and will continue to recommend it to others. I'm also going to a funeral next week which with William's help I'm viewing very differently. I will now wave her off on her amazing journey and trust it will be equally wonderful for me when my time comes xxx

Help with Self-help.

I'm into self help at the moment and I found this book very appropriate to me at this time of my life. A very interesting listen.
As it's William Roache's voice, it was very personal.
