Not at all what I expected, but I loved it!

Paul Byrd played professional baseball in the late 90s. During the time which I had outgrown my boyhood love for the game so I did not know anything about his baseball career. Since having children, I follow baseball again and we know Paul as a commentator for Fox sports and the Atlanta Braves. Our favorite team. We find him enjoyable to watch on TV and when I found out he had a book I wanted to read it. I was surprised to discover that this was not a book about baseball but a book about Paul's personal faith journey and how it carried him through the challenges in his baseball life. If you are looking for a Baseball book please don't let that description stop you from listening to this book. It was excellent! Paul is obviously a multi talented man. As a fan of the game, his insight on the lifestyle of what it's like to be a player with a family was very interesting. And, I was able to relate his challenges to my own and found the book to be encouraging and inspiring.
