Publisher's Summary

This program features a bonus interview with author Jason Delgado.

The memoir of Jason Delgado, a US Marine scout sniper and MARSOC's first lead sniper instructor.

The fight for Jason Delgado's life and soul began when he was just a boy. He ultimately escaped the death and drugs of a crime-riddled Bronx by way of the US Marine Corps. However, after earning his way into the esteemed ranks of the service's famed Scout Snipers, Delgado saw that old struggle reignited when he was dumped into the hell of war in Iraq.

There Delgado proved not only a participant but a warrior capable of turning the tide in several of the most harrowing and historically important battles of the evolving war. He took all the hard lessons learned in combat and, as MARSOC's original lead sniper instructor, made himself a pivotal figure in revolutionizing the way special operations snipers trained and operated. But even after accomplishing his mission in the military, Delgado still faced that original fight, struggling to understand and accept the man his experiences had transformed him into.

Bounty Hunter 4/3 is Jason Delgado's captivating firsthand account of these powerful and life-changing experiences.

Story is OK, but narrator is horrible.

Any additional comments?

I read about Jason Delgado in Brandon Webb's The Killing School, and was interested in his time as a Marine sniper. His story is OK, but doesn't add much substance to the subject matter. Other books on this topic are more informative and more interesting, with far less ego.

I would urge anyone interested in this book to read the actual book instead of listening to the audiobook. Peter Berkrot's narration is horrible. It's melodramatic and he doesn't know how to properly say the military terms. He also pronounces "oorah" as "yeah". Listening to him made me cringe. The author should be embarrassed to have Berkot reading the book.

Great story, didn’t like the narrator

Compelling and heartfelt story, but the narrator’s NY Accent was irritating, especially after hearing the author interview at the end he didn’t have a thick NY accent.

Terrible narration. Non native speaker.

Ok audible. Hear what I’m saying. Use native speakers for American authors. Bizarre accents and people faking American accents sound awful. Don’t do it. Respect your customers.

The narrator is a tool

The story is good but the narrator is a tool. I could listen to the whole book because of him.

Great unfiltered account of life as a Marine Sniper

I loved how raw the account was from Jason. Ups and downs, success and failure. I never got the chance to personally work with snipers during my time in the Corps. I thank you for your service and sharing your story. Simper Fi
