Most Americans experienced the attacks on September 11, 2001 on American soil surrounded by friends, family, and coworkers. For one American working in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia, the experience would take her on a terrifying journey and change her life forever.

The author's perspective of being a single female in a Middle Eastern country on 9/11 certainly could have been enlightening; however, it seems to have been thrown together without much thought. Quite simply, it was poorly written.
