If you're into Paul is dead then check this out!

I remember the Paul is dead rumor of 1969 and spent a lot of time looking for clues. This is the first time I heard anyone tell Billy's story so craftily. It helps make sense of all the clues. It was kind of short but sweet. And it was to the point without adding too much fluff or fake stuff. It was just the way I like it. And there is a song at the very end that Billy Campbell apparently wrote and the Beatles used to make Sgt. Pepper. That was very clever. A great way to end this listen. Check it out!

Juvenal sounding story

As the listened to the story line events and descriptions were poorly written. It reads as a teenager had written this book. Each chapter was short. If you care to listen to a fictional story about the Beatles I guess this could be for you.

Super fun listen!

This is a really entertaining fictional account of Billy Campbell getting the gig after Paul McCartney's alleged unfortunate passing in a car wreck. This premise is based on the whole "Paul is Dead" conspiracy theory that started at a Detroit radio station in 1969.

It's an energetic listen and the author's belief in the theory comes through. I now want to go find more clues as to where the actual theory started. I imagine looking at photos from the time should really tell the tale. Being in bands my whole life, I know relationships get built and whether you like your band members or not, there is always a connection. Playing off a band member death would be next to impossible.

Conspiracy theory validity aside, it's a really light and fun listen. So appreciated during these crazy times.
