Why did I wait so long to get it!
I always thought that this book is for people working in creative fields (artists, writers etc.) and I should not read it because I am a doctor and it will just add to my misery reminding me that I didn't have enough courage to go for a creative field when I had the opportunity. But, I was wrong. This book is for all people who want a little creativity in their life. I actually started creating while reading and loved every bit of it. It inspired me to keep going regardless of my boring life filled with medicine books.
It also changed my perception of creativity needing to support me financially if I want to take it seriously. In fact, I don't even need to take it 'seriously' otherwise it won't come to me. Brilliant! Thank you!
The author's voice is calm and soothing which totally adds to the magic!

I found my purpose
Once I finished this book, I got a completely different perspective towards life and towards creativity. Most importantly...I found my purpose. This book is a must read for all those creative people who are struggling to be themselves. This book had freed my mind of all the brules that I had believed till now.

very enjoyable
I love her tone as she narrates this book and it wasn't quite what I expected but it's a good book. very practical. Big magic sounds grand at first, you think it's about getting big ideas, a grand sparkly bright life etc but I love it's kind of down to earth- ness. How everyday people can find their magic and navigate their ways around life's blockages that stop us from being our best. big magic is about accessing your best self.

Riveting!
I am so grateful for this experience presented by Elizabeth Gilbert. I just happened to be enrolled in a creatively fit coaching program, and found her candit words of wisdom insightful and reassuring, as i plunged into my new creative endeavor. this will certainly become one of my prescribed reading for all my future students! I highly recommend this book to everybody who feels the call of the creative life!
