I am enjoying this series. Out in Arizona, in this 21st century gold
rush, the little ol' town of Big Lake
provides plenty of tension between black hats and white. When the tension spills over into
violence excellent detective work provides plenty human interest and a bunch of red herrings and surprising twists.

This one kept me on my toes and changing my mind about possible suspects. What a shocker! The last person I would have guessed. I enjoyed following along to the conclusion. I enjoyed seeing the sheriff convince George to seek employment. Robin's surprise kiss had me laughing. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.
