The Bible: Is there a scientific method to prove the Bible’s historical accuracy? This task falls to the science of archaeology, the study of man’s past based on excavations and collected artifacts. Can archaeology provide enough evidence to prove the Bible accurate?

In this text, we will examine ancient documents, ruins, and over 200 individual artifacts directly related to the lands, peoples, and events depicted in the Bible. We will explore excavation sites in Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and all across Israel. A single project in Jerusalem has lasted an impressive nineteen years and produced over 600,000 artifacts, many of which date back as far as 3,000 years.

We will examine the cutting-edge tools of the modern archaeologist and profile some of the world-renowned scientists who have dedicated their lives to retrieving and documenting the history of the Lands of the Bible.

From the palace of King David to the Dead Sea Scrolls. From the First Temple to the Holy Chalice. Can the historical elements, people, and events of the Bible be proven accurate? Join the search, and make your decision based on the facts, the evidence.

I could not get past Part II. The number of times the virtual voice, sounding very professor like, said
It is believed
It is supposed
Accepted archeology sources do not support this
Some people question this
It is suggested that (this is where Abraham buried Sarah 3,700 years ago) I think it also mentioned Abraham’s burial place.
It is thought that this is where Eve was buried.

You get the picture. I was hoping it was an actual archaeological examination of what has turned up in excavations.

His proofs are sketchy like:

The James Ossuary is treated as fact, despite ongoing controversy, translated to English, “James son of Joseph, brother of Jesus” and they consider it genuine. The ossuary shows some tampering in with “the brother of Jesus” in a different hand with different patina. James, Joseph and Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) were very common names with Jews for many years before and since the ossuary. The idea that of all the ossuaries that you can imagine at that time and of the few remaining this one with such a description is miraculously found is ludicrous. The owner Oded Golan has a very checkered history through previously acquitted of forgery, but obtained it from an unknown source. I think there are a few other items that the specific of which seem to have been found among all of the similar item which have been destroyed over history.

Finding support for things or places that are mentioned in the Bible but have been previously found to exist.
Using things found hundreds and some times more than 1,000 years after the fact as proving the Bible because of some reference found.

I couldn’t even wait to hear his discussion of the relics St Helena, mother of Constantine the Great, in the 4th century AD, yes 4th century:
The pieces of wood from the cross Jesus died on plus those of the criminals crucified with him,
The nails from the cross, the thorns from the crown of thorns,
the sign from atop the cross

I just could not listen to another bit. I used to subscribe to Biblical Archeology and finally quit. I felt like the next article would be “Found! The rock Mary rested on while in route to Bethlehem.
