Wow what a great book! The narration was so well done! I highly recommend this book! I can’t wait to listen to part two!!

Just what I need for my days driving

I drive a lot for work. So, what I listen to can have a great impact on how my day goes. I’m sad that I finished this audio book. I love teller and charlottes story. I’ve read all the Loki stories, and honestly, some can drag on. But there is a good amount of romance, banter and tension. Sure, Merlin/chick is 80% cause of that tension, but still. This book made my driving time much quicker and much more enjoyable. Narrators are always great, as I’ve heard them many times before!!

I hope we get to listen to beyond reason soon. I’ll just have to read it again til then.

Charlotte is lawyer. Marcel aka Teller is the treasure of the lost kings mc. They meet when Charlotte represents Teller's little sister in a court case. Attraction pulls but a line is there. Will they cross the line? What will happen when Teller realizes who her family is? What will happen in the next book?

Just adored this book when I read it and it’s even better in audio!
Troy Duran is one of my favorite male narrators and he nails Teller as I expected.
I haven’t heard Elizabeth Hart before and she did a good job as well.
I cannot wait for the next book to come out in audible so i can grab it!

You have got to get this book NOW!!!! This is a wonderful story. So well written and narrated!! Troy Duran and Elizabeth Hart did a wonderful job at reading this story. looking forward to the next book and it can't come to library fast enough.

Terrific and Amazing Story

I really love this story. Autumn Jones Lake, you never cease to amaze me. The more I read and/or listen to Teller and Charlotte’s story, the more I fall in love with them. How they learn to trust and communicate with each other and their families sets my heart racing.

Could not wait to read Teller's story. I have enjoyed this entire series. Teller has always been a mystery to me, he was gruff, brash and overly protective but he loved his sister and the MC, you could just tell through out the series that there was something more to him. Autumn does a great job of making you feel like these characters are apart of your own family. I cannot wait for the next book. Its hard when a book ends on a cliff hanger but with this series it is always worth the wait. Narration was perfection!

I just finished Beyond Reckless on Audible, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it! Right from the start, I was drawn to both lead characters. Marcel, although part of a tough and daunting MC, really stood out as a decent guy trapped in a world that demanded actions he didn’t always agree with. From the previous books, I already had a soft spot for him, and in this one, it was clear—deep down, he’s a good man just trying to navigate a rough life. Charlotte, on the other hand, is a total powerhouse. Highly intelligent, fiercely independent, and with a heart of gold, she’s the kind of woman who’ll do anything for her family. Her bond with her brother is so special, and at first, I honestly didn’t think she and Marcel were going to make it—two totally different worlds, right? But as the story unfolds, you realize there’s so much more to Charlotte than meets the eye, and the secrets she’s keeping bring a lot of twists to the plot. The tension builds from the very first big scene, and as Charlotte’s secrets come to light, it drives her straight into Marcel's arms. I was rooting for these two the whole time, and the chemistry between them was undeniable.

Autumn Jones Lake never disappoints. Her writing is top-notch, and her unique style and flare really shine in this book. She delivers a fantastic adult romance, and I’m always excited to dive into her stories. I really enjoyed Troy's narration—he brought a lot of energy and depth to the story. However, I struggled to connect with Elizabeth's narration and voice. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to my taste.

That said, I wasn’t a fan of one particular scene—the argument between Charlotte and Trinity. The way it was written made Trinity come across as harsh, almost like biker trash, and I was definitely team Charlotte in that moment. I also felt a little let down by Hope’s character; she seemed way too subservient compared to earlier books. As for Wrath, I had mixed feelings. I loved his character in previous books, but in this one, he came across as more of a caveman again, which didn’t sit well with me.

One scene that felt completely out of place and honestly cringe-worthy took place at the clubhouse during one of their club parties with the 'club girls.' One of the young girls, who seemed to be fresh out of high school, was there with her friend, both being harassed and groped by an older man in his late 40s or early 50s. When one of the girls tried to leave, Teller told her to 'stay and make the man happy.' I found this absolutely gross, especially considering that Teller goes out of his way to take care of his niece, Alexa.

Would Teller really be okay if Alexa grew up to be a 'club girl'? Would it be acceptable, or even humorous, for her at 18 to spend time with older men at a biker club, getting passed around to guys twice her age or old enough to be her father? The entire scene with Teller was incredibly uncomfortable and just didn't sit right with me. I’m not sure why Autumn chose to write it this way. Personally, I would have much preferred if Teller had intervened, telling the girls they were too young and helping them leave the situation safely, rather than pushing them into the arms of a creeper.

All in all, Beyond Reckless was ok. I really hope these two can make it through the crazy world of MC laws and find love and happiness. Can’t wait to see where the next book takes us! - Namaste!

loved the story

This is such a great story. Troy Duran has an amazing voice. So far he has done all but one of the LOKI audio books and I love listening to his voice. Unfortunately I didn't like Elizabeth Hart. Her voice isn't clear like you would expect it to be. I was really disappointed listening to her.
