Loved this!

Another great Bree Taggert story! So glad we learned her mom was trying to leave and that someone was trying to help. Many times the helpers are forgotten so thank you for sharing that part of the story.. if only briefly.

Another good chapter in Bree's story

I enjoyed this story, and enjoy the relationships between all the characters. These novels are always a solid, comforting read.

Love Melinda Leigh and the Sheriff Taggert storyline!

As always, Bre and her family and team keep me on the edge of my seat and fully engaged, from word one! Can’t wait for the next installment!

Good story

The story was good. I did not expect the ending. I do however miss some of the characters that in the past were a bigger part of the story. I really like Dana‘s character and now she has but a few lines in the book. I have never really gotten into the Morgan Dane books and I wish she was not in this one as much and perhaps Dana, Matt‘s parents and brother could have been more prominent.

Another great book!

I have been impatiently waiting for this installment of the Bree Taggert series and was trying to savor it for as long as possible. Well I made it stretch 3ish days.. All I can say is wow! I did not expect the twist, and had my mind set on other possible suspects.. like I was thinking outside the box...and I was wrong! Melinda Leigh hit it out of the park on this one and I'll be impatiently waiting for the next book? Bree's story isn't quite over yet!

Also, I have to say that the narrator, Christina Traister is darn good at her job, I couldn't imagine her not being Bree or anyone else for that matter 😉

As soon as I got notification of this book drop, I downloaded and listened almost straight through. Ms Leigh please give us more Sheriff Bree adventures. Narrator is perfect as always.

Great story as always!

Disliked like that the narrator changed from the past ones and that the character Olivia Cruz didn't have an accent.
